Due to rapid growth AutoGuide is seeking a proactive, motivated, and hands on individual to join our Software Engineering team. With an expanding portfolio of mobile robots, this position will be instrumental in the launch of our new platforms and has tremendous career opportunities.

As a software engineer at AutoGuide, you will be involved in the design, development, testing, and installation of software used to coordinate the movements of AGVs in warehouses and factories.


The primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Design and develop new software features for our existing product lines
  • Generate design documentation and test plans for complete systems level testing.
  • Support testing and debug application software for controlling robotic fleets.
  • Collaborate in the Agile/Scrum process for software development.
  • Collaborate with business and engineering departments to design new automation solutions.
  • Support field installation teams.
  • Learn new technologies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States. Qualified Applicants will not require employrer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in United States.

In addition, to be a good fit for this opportunity you will have:

  • B.S in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Robotics Engineering.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Experience with MS Visual Studio and MS development tools is a plus
  • Experience with C#, .NET preferred. Experience with C++ is a plus.
  • Basic electrical and mechanical skills highly desirable.
  • Experience in industrial autonomous robotics is desirable.
  • Working knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodology.
  • Ability to travel (~10%)
